Are the glass beads fragile? top
The glass beads are NOT fragile. I fire them in a kiln for 5 hours to stabilize and strengthen the glass. You are getting the strongest product on the market. The strengthening process is called annealing. I take much care to evaluate and grade all my beads to assure you are getting the best I make. I have been making glass beads for 6 years and none have come back broken.
How do I know what size to order? top
The easiest way is to take a glass bead bracelet that you currently have and measure it from end to end on a ruler. Email that information to me or put it in the comments section when ordering. I will make a guess from that. If you don't have a glass bead bracelet, take any bracelet that you like to wear and measure it. Relay to me what type bracelet it is and I will make the adjustment. In sizing glass bead bracelets, space has to be allowed for the height of the beads when they sit on your wrist. Some beads are larger or flatter than others. I will make my best guess and if for some reason you don't like the fit after it arrives, mail it back with your preferences and I will make the adjustment! I want the bracelet to fit so you will enjoy wearing it.
How do the bracelets come sized? top
I pick the standard size of 7 1/4. I do not use adjustable closures. But, I do size everything to fit you once you order. You can select a specific size bracelet and necklace from the drop down menu when ordering.
How do you clean the jewelry? top
There are two ways. 1. Just take soap and water and wash and rinse. This will clean he jewelry from daily dirt and perspiration. 2. To remove tarnish, use a liquid silver cleaner like, Connoiseurs. Dip the whole strand of beads in the liquid for 10 to 15 seconds. Pull out and rinse thoroughly and dry in a paper towel. The silver cleaner will not hurt the beads.
What is the metal you use with your glass beads top
I use only the finest sterling silver and bali beads. I believe only the best should be used with handmade glass beads.

How strong are the bracelets? top
Over the years I have experienced some breakage of the stringing material. The beads were cutting thru the wire. Once identifying the problem, I bore the ends of each bead to eliminate the rough edges and create a flair so the beads doesn't act like a saw. I also use a very flexible stringing material that has 49 strands of stainless steel encased with nylon. It bends easily and won't crease. It is very strong and since making the change I haven't had any problems with breakage. I am very hard on my jewelry and it has to with stand much abuse. I am very confident your jewelry will last for years and years!
