Basic Lampworking Classes
I cover the basics of glass bead making. We spend several hours on safety. I show you the basic equipment, its uses and how to set it up. I will teach you 3 different shapes and we will spend lots of time on surface decorations. You will learn everything you need for sometime in this 2 day class. The USE of all supplies & equipment, glass and gas are provided in the cost of $220.00 (plus tax). Each basic session will consist of 12 hours of hands on/instruction on the designated dates below. Learn to make your own beautiful beads, Get the beads you really want, make your own! All you need to bring is YOURSELF. Please note: Students 13 to 15 years of age need a parent to take the class with them.
Please note, all my classes are scheduled on Saturday and Sunday. I believe you learn better in back to back classes. You won't experience a learning curve only growth! If you are unavailable for weekend classes, pull together 3 additional friends and schedule the class at your convenience. I am usually available most week days. Email me with some dates.
At the end of class, you will have the option to purchase your tools and equipment, along with a glass kit, should you decide you want to continue making beads at home. Torch kits are $175 and glass kits are $30 (prices may vary due to availability of supplies). The list of tools will be provided at class. It does include EVERYTHING you need to go home and start making beads. I also will have other useful tools and books to choose from if you want to purchase them.
Each student is given a class packet that will cover all the material we work thru as well as resources for purchasing more tools and glass in the future.
Basic Bead Class tuition $220.00 (+ tax 20.25 = $240.35). Tax is collected from everyone since the "goods" are delivered in the State of Tennessee. Intermediate Bead Class
New structure to fit your schedule. Each session will cost $100 (total 6 hours) and YOU get to request what we cover. I will take requests several weeks before and edit what we cover. If you have no requests, we will expand on other techniques.

Private Instruction
Private instruction is also available at a rate of $25 per hour with a minumum of 2 hours for previous students. Students instructed by others, there is a 4 hours minimum at $30 per hour. Private Basic Bead Making Class is $360.00 (both days) Mon thru Thurs. Private Basic Bead Making Class on Sat & Sun is $450. All subject to tax. Email or call to schedule your private session.
